All the village people started collecting funds for their own village. More than 200 crore rupees were collected only from Surat for the Project. People settled in cities such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Vapi gave their monetary contribution for their native village. The Indians settled abroad were also willing to extend their support and co-operation for the fulfillment of this important mission. All the people continued to extend their help and co-operation to accomplish this huge Project. They started to visit their native village more frequently and also increased their financial contribution. The village people were advised and persuaded to get united, forgetting all the old disputes and differences. An environment of distrust and disharmony was replaced by an environment of trust and harmony. The rich and successful people of the village, staying in Surat, contributed enormously in the development and progress of the village. The mission started from Surat but then it spread to other cities also. The village people settled in other cities also started taking active interest in the development of their native village.
